Ortiz Denies Steroid Use

No suprises here: David Ortiz, speaking out for the first time since allegations arose a week ago that he used steroids in 2003, denied any knowledge that he utilized the illegal drug.

Ortiz claimed he talked to the player's union in 2004 and was never told he had tested positive for steroids. Ortiz used the word "confused" several times during the press conference.

So, like his former teammate Manny Ramirez and many other users, Ortiz has denied taking steroids, even though proofs testify otherwise.
