2015 NFL Schedule: Jets vs. Giants regular season clash will be December 6

As the leaks keep flying in here is another tasty tidbit from the 2015 NFL schedule release, and this one concerns the battle of New York ... or ... er ... New Jersey, the Giants and Jets.

According to Ralph Vacchianno of the NY Daily News, the Giants and Jets will face each other on December 6, 2015. The time of the game and the network, at this moment is not known.

The Giants will be the host team for this year's contest.

The last time the Giants and Jets met in the regular season, you'd have to go back to December 24, 2011 when the Giants beat the Jets with the playoffs on the line for both teams. The game is best remembered for Victor Cruz's 99-yard touchdown catch and run. The Giants would use that victory as a springboard toward the Super Bowl. For the Jets, the game was the beginning of the end for both Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez with the Jets.

The Giants scheudle is almost all complete. Big Blue will face Dallas in week 1, Atlanta in week 2, visit Washington on Thursday night in Week 3. After the Jets game in week 13, the Giants travel to Miami in week 14. They will face Philadelphia in week 17.
