Yanks Spanked Again

You can't say they didn't have a chance. The Yankees drew six walks in this one, but failed to capitalize on any attempt to score as five Cincinnati pitchers combined to shut down the Bronx Bombers for the second striaght game 6-0.
Edwin Encarnacion drove in the first run in the seventh with a single to left to score Ken Griffey Jr. and Brandon Phillips.
Corey Patterson later homered to give Cincy a 3-0 lead.
The win clinched the series for the Reds, who won their first series at the old Stadium since the 1976 World Series.
