Favre Plans to Go to Camp

In the second part of an interview with Fox's Greta Van Sustrean, Brett Favre says he is tempted to show up at Packers training camp as a way to call the Packers bluff and make them look really stupid.

Here is a quote from the story on Yahoo Sports.com: "It’s tempting just to, as everyone said, you know, call their bluff or whatever,” Favre said, according to an excerpt provided to The Associated Press. “I think it’s going to be a circus in itself already, whether I go there, whatever.” READ THE ARTICLE.

This is beginning to feel like a Terrell Owens Saga Part II. This time with Favre staring in the role of Owens, the bitter player who will make everyone in camp miserable, and Mike McCarthy will play the role of friend Andy Ried, who was the coach that couldn't stand Owens antics any longer.

This truly means that Favre is on his last legs in Green Bay. If he shows up to camp and creates a circus, it will totally distract the Packers from preparing for the 2008 season, and could even destroy their season. Favre doesn't care - he just cares about himself.

The Packers have to trade him as soon as possible, before it gets really ugly.
