Favre To Jets Still Alive? Favre To Stay Retired?

From the NFC North Blog on ESPN.com, the Brett Favre to New York Jets trade may not be dead as previously thought earlier in the day.

According to the Green Bay Press Gazette, the Jets have had serious talks with Favre's agent James Bus Cook.

This is a contridiction to a report from ESPN this morning that said that Favre had no interest in the Jets or Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Then again, there was a report on SportsCenter that said Favre could consider staying retired and take the $20 million offered to him by team president Marc Murphy.

Clearly there are tons of rumors. Don't know if any are legit, but this is getting more interesting by the minute.
