Hamilton Blasts 28 Homers

Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers set a new record for the Homerun Derby contest, held tonight at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

Hamilton blasted 28 homers in the first round, easily advancing into the second round, where he will face Lance Berkman of the Houston Astros, Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers, and Justin Morneou of the Minnesota Twins.
