Rangers Rebound Versus Pittsburgh

After losing control of first place earlier this week, the New York Rangers rebounded with a 4-0 victory over the stumbling Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Rangers scored early when Nigel Dawes scored a power play goal to make it 1-0.

In the second period,Paul Mara scored on another Rangers powerplay to make it 2-0 Blue Shirts.

Chris Druy and Scott Gomez added goals in the third to all but ice the game.

Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist had 27 saves, and did not allow a goal. He held Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby to just five shots, all of them misses.
