McNair Death A Homicide; Jeff Fisher Speaks To Media

Steve McNair's death was confirmed a homicide today by Nashville police, as information came out that 20-year-old gal pal Sahel Kazemi had purchased a gun. A relative of Kazemi provided the info. to police.

Kazemi was under the impression that McNair was going to divorce his wife Michelle, in order to marry her. That never happened.

This afternoon, Titans coach Jeff Fisher finally spoke to the media, delivering a wonderful memoir of McNair, while holding visibly holding back tears. "My hope is that Steve will be remembered, forgiven, and remembered for what he did for this organization."

Fisher revealed in his press conference that when he last spoke to McNair, he was talking to the quarterback about possibly returning to the team as a assistant coach.

"All we can do is prey for Steve's family, prey for Steve," said former Titan teammate Eddie George, who broke the news to Fisher a few days ago ."(McNair) blessed us with so many memories, had a huge impact on this community and we will miss him dearly."
