The Jets continue their pursuit of washed up super stars, so they can have as many pretty faces and smiles for their HBO appearance later this summer.
Jason Taylor, who is one of the most dispised opponents in Jets history, have spent most of his career eating up Jets quarterbacks, as a Miami Dolphin, could be ready to join Gang Green as the teams new defensive end/outside linebacker.
"Taylor, an unrestricted free agent, is due to arrive Wednesday for a visit, multiple sources confirmed. His visit will include a helicopter ride to the new Meadowlands Stadium, where he will receive a tour. The Jets are rolling out the red carpet because Rex Ryan desperately wants to improve his pass rush and he has targeted Taylor since Day 1 of free agency." (Daily News).
Taylor, who will be 36 this season, won Dancing With The Stars a couple of years back, nd his star power might be an attraction to the Jets, who seem to love having stars on their team, i.e. Brett Favre and LaDainlian Tomlinson. Taylor had a mediocre year with the Fish in 2009, his only highlight was a fumble recovery for a touchdown against the Jets at the Meadowlands on November 1.
