Jason Taylor Joins New York Jets
The most vilified Miami Dolphin since Dan Marino, in the eyes of Jets fans, is now a member of Gang Green. Jason Taylor has singed a two-year $13 million deal with the Jets according to WFAN.
Taylor had seven sacks last year with the Dolphins. Taylor has made a career of hating the Jets and their fans, stating that the Jet fans take the "CL" out of class, and promising to never play for the Jets. Well, now he is a Jet.
Taylor is 36 years old, so there is reasonable questions as to how he will perform this year. In 2008, with the Redskins he had only 3.5 sacks. Rex Ryan, as usual, guarenteed that Taylor would rack up 12 sacks in his vaunted 46 defense. We shall see.
Now Taylor has to make nice with Jets nation, which is not exactly crazy about the ex-Fish joining their squad.
