GIANTS 31
REDSKINS 7
How nice is it to have the punchless Redskins on the schedule. With a tough stretch of games coming up for the New York Giants, the G-Men got a nessecary break by pounding the Washington Redskins 31-7 to improve to 8-4, and remain tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for first place in the NFC East.
Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw were the stars of the afternoon rushing for 200 yards and four touchdowns between them. Jacobs got it started with an eight yard touchdown to give Big Blue a 7-0 lead. Later, in the quarter Bradshaw scored from four yards out to make it 14-0.
Donavan McNabb was lousy once again. He threw for 296 yards, but was sacked four times, picked off twice, and fumbled the ball back to the Giants. More and more McNabb is looking like a quarterback who was a product of Andy Reid's offense in Philadelphia. If you doubt it, just look at Michael Vick.
In the second half the Giants put this one away when Jacobs broke free of tacklers and rumbled into the end zone for a 28 yard score to make it 28-0!
