LIVE BLOG: Jets Trail Big in Foxboro

PATRIOTS 24
JETS 3

The Jets now trail the New England Patriots 24-3 at halftime.

Coach Rex Ryan put his team in a huge hole with some risky gambles on wasting a challenge when he didn't need to, and kicking an impossible 53 yard field goal into the wind, that gave the Patriots great field position.

The Patriots took a quick 10-0 lead on those managerial miscues by Ryan. BenJarvis Green-Ellis added a one yard run to give New England a 17-0 lead before the first quarter ended.

Tom Brady then completed a four yard touchdown to Ben Tate to give the Pats a 24-3 lead. That touchdown was questionable, but Ryan never challenged it, probably because he was afraid to get it wrong again.
