We all know Rex Ryan loves to talk.
Heck, Ryan became the most popular New Jersey televison personality since Tony Soprano last summer with his unapologetic approach to coaching on HBO's "Hard Knocks."
This summer, Ryan has decided to voice his opinons in a tell-all book called "Play Like You Mean It." I know, I know; I figured something like "Happy Feet," or "Go $#**@ Yourself" would sound like a more apropos title for it, but, hey, it's got his name on it.
The book, which is scheduled to come out in bookstores and online next week, is already making waves.
ESPN New York and Daily News columnist Rich Cimini revealed some interesting tidbits from the book; Ryan goes on rants about former Jets Kerry Rhodes and draft day flame out Vernon Gholston.
He even makes bold predictions about the Jets success in the next decade, saying: "I know it's going to piss off every Giants fan to hear this, but here you go: We are the better team. We are the big brother."
He doesn't stop there, claiming the Jets are "going to remain the better team for the next ten years. Whether you like it or not, those are the facts and that's what's going to happen." (ESPN).
He then goes where no coach has gone before slamming the wife of an opposing quarterback. That's right: Tom Brady!
"I really don't know Tom Brady, but who wouldn't hate him?" Ryan said. "Look at his life. Actually, look at his wife. Every man in America hates Tom Brady, and he should be proud of that."
