In the last two weeks three celebrities have passed away; today, on America's birthday, another life was lost. Steve McNair, the man who led the Tennessee Titans to their lone Super Bowl appearance during the 1999 season, was found shot to death in the head at his Nashville home. A woman was also found shot to death in the same room with McNair.
It is not known how this tragedy happened; it is still unclear if murder/suicide was involved. More details will be known later.
McNair last played in the NFL season for the Baltimore Ravens during the 2006 season in which he led the team to a 13-3 record in his initial year with the club.
