FAVRE IS A N.Y. JET

The drama is officially over, and the party is offically beginning...Brett Favre is now a New York Jet. He was finally traded to New York at 12:00 A.M. Thursday morning. Farve will be the starter, but proabably won't play when the Jets open the preseason tomorrow night at Cleveland.

Chad Pennington is finished, done, caput. He will be either released or traded, proabably to Minnesota. Yeah, those guys again.

Brett Favre is still in green, but in Green and White. He will fit nicely into that uniform.

The Jets were staring at a 7-9 season with Pennington as the starter, with Favre the Jets are a playoff contendor, and maybe a Super Bowl contender. We haven't said Super Bowl contendor for the Jets since 1998.
