Joba Moves to DL

Joba Chamberlin has been diagnosed with rotator cuff tendinitis after seeing Authropedic Surgen Dr. James Andrews in Alabama today, and will miss the next 15 days of action on the DL.

He will rest for a week or so, before throwing again. Yet the Yankees will have to be careful, because they do not want to lose Chamberlin, who's arm and talent is way to valuable to risk further injury.

Meanwhile, the Yankees called up Ian Kennedy and Chris Britton from the minor leagues to fill out the spots in the bullpen and in the rotation. Kennedy struggled when he came up in April as a starter, but is 3-0 with a 1.33 ERA at tripple - A Scranton.
