Vikings Vs. Saints In Week 1

The NFL schedules will be announced in less than four hours, and already the league has let out news as to one game for the upcoming season.

The Minnesota Vikings will head back to New Orleans to play the world champion Saints on the Thursday night opener at 8:30 in September.

The Saints beat the Vikings in the NFC title game in January 31-28, a game that the Vikings clearly outplayed the Saints in.

Will Brett Favre be there? Favre was beaten up by the Saints in the last meeting, and has yet to announce either his third retirement or his third reinstatement into the league. This game will be about Favre, until he decides what to do. In the meantime the Saints will begin their quest for a repeat title.

The Jets and Giants will release their schedules before 7pm.
