Soccer Legend Pele Passes Away

One of the most enduring and important figures in soccer and sports, Pele has passed away. He was 82.

Pele was the only player to win three World Cups doing so for his native Brazil. In turn he put an entire sport on the map, making it popular around the World.

Pele also played three years in New Jersey for the New York Comos in the mid-1970s; his final game drew more than 77,000 at Giants Stadium.
